SMSS started operations in February 2007, after almost 2 years of research and development. The founder and CEO, Derek Botes of SMSS identified an enormous opportunity in the market, relating to an easy-to-use platform with the enormous capabilities of sms and mms marketing as well as the service levels in the consumer industry.
